Food Allergies and Sensitivities
Dr Natasha Montroy ND, a naturopathic doctor, will discuss how many dietary staples such as milk, wheat, soy, eggs, fish and nuts and many other foods may be having a negative impact on you or your child’s health. She will help you identify the signs and symptoms of food and environmental allergies / sensitivities, offer information regarding testing methods available and discuss natural treatment options.

CPR-HCP and CPR C Recert

Gordon Head Recreation Centre

This session aims to train naturopathic doctors and other healthcare professionals including medical reception staff to respond to threatening clinical emergencies in an efficient manner. By completion of this course, a participant will be able to identify and manage airway, respiratory and circulatory emergencies for adults, children and infants, perform 1 and 2 person CPR and be trained in effective use of AED's and BVM's.

Clinical Emergency Inservice

This portio of the course is focused on emergency clinical response and effective in house procedures and management of common medical emergencies. Will cover administration of emergency medications, AED use, emergency IV therapy, oxygen therapy, oral airways, patient carries and rolls, removals from hydrotherapy environments, blood sugar assessment, spinal injury management and much more.....
