Dr. Montroy will work with you and your partner to create a birth plan to outline your needs during labour, delivery and post partum. With this in place, it is much easier for all of your care providers to work together to create the birthing environment you want.

Naturopathic Labour and Delivery Care Support Program:
Cost: $750 (current patients) and $850 (non patient). Complete labour care including initial meet and greet visit, on-call service, home and hospital labour supportive care and assisted pain management (may include homeopathy, acupuncture and massage). Includes as well one post delivery care visit at hospital or home for both mother and baby in conjunction with midwifes and or maternity doctors.

Complete labour care including initial first and second visits, five 30 minute prenatal visits, cervical ripening and labour induction support acupuncture & homeopathic remedies and botanical tinctures starting week 38 of pregnancy to support labour progression, on-call service, home and hospital labour supportive care and assisted pain management (may include homeopathy, acupuncture and massage). Includes two post delivery care and breast feeding support visits at hospital or home for both mother and baby in conjunction with midwifes and or maternity doctors.

Induction Support and Labour & Delivery Program

This package is designed to assist cervical ripening, labour onset and progression. Cervical ripening support is started at 38 weeks gestation. This package includes twice weekly acupuncture starting week 38 of your pregnancy, acupuncture every second day week 39 and daily acupuncture week 40+. This package includes six 30-45 minute visits, however if more than six visits are required, we offer these additional visits to our mom's free of charge. Homeopathic remedies and botanical medicine to support labour preparation is included in the cost starting week 36. Complete labour care includes on-call service, home and hospital labour supportive care and assisted pain management (may include homeopathy, acupuncture and massage). Includes as well one post delivery care visit at hospital or home for both mother and baby in conjunction with midwifes and or maternity doctors.

Doula Support Program:
Cost: $650
Includes initial meet and greet visit. Labour care includes on-call service, continuous emotional and physical support throughout labour and delivery at home or hospital and assisted pain management techniques (massage included). We offer one postpartum home visit to assist in the supportive care of both mother and baby after delivery. **We accept acute referrals from midwives and maternity doctors.

Induction Support:
We offer acupuncture, botanical medicine and homeopathy to assist with cervical ripening and the onset and progression of labour.

Induction Support Acupuncture:
Cost: $351
This package is designed to assist cervical ripening, labour onset and progression. Cervical ripening support is started at 38 weeks gestation. This package includes twice weekly acupuncture starting week 38 of your pregnancy, acupuncture every second day week 39 and daily acupuncture week 40+. This package includes six 30-45 minute visits, however if more than six visits are required, we offer these additional visits to our mom's free of charge.

Postpartum Care:
The postpartum period although wonderful can present many difficulties for women trying to juggle caring for a new baby, breastfeeding, healing, caring for other siblings, balancing home and work and maintaining their relationship. We are here to help. We offer natural therapies to women to help them manage low mood, anxiety, sleep deprivation, depression and possible feelings of giving up. We can offer referrals to postpartum programs in Victoria and are happy to work with your GP, midwife and or counsellor to ensure adequate support. You are not alone.



Breastfeeding Support:
We offer at home or in clinic personal breastfeeding counselling and postpartum visits to help mom's address concerns with poor latching, painful breastfeeding, sore nipples, inverted nipples, postpartum concerns and concerns with poor milk production. We can assist with changes in breastfeeding techniques, offer therapies to resolve painful nipples and engorgement, low milk supply, postpartum anxiety and many other concerns with the use of natural therapies. We offer free drop-in breastfeeding support each Friday at our clinic 5:00-5:30 pm for any moms and babes having challenges with breastfeeding whom would like assistance. Please note you must contact reception by Friday 12pm if you plan to drop in. These sessions are focused on technique assistance and are drop-in for both patients and non-patients. Botanical and supplement treatment plans will only be presribed during patient consultations.
